Daniel Glaudel DANIEL GLAUDEL, Bass, has portrayed nearly seventy leading bass roles from the operatic repertoire, where he is singled out again and again for his impressive, ringing bass voice and intense character portrayals. Music critics have praised “his sonorous bass", "commanding stage presence" and "musical and dramatic integrity".

Mr. Glaudel has appeared as a soloist with The Jackson Symphony (MI), Opera Seabrook, Opera Philadelphia (plan artist/cover), State Repertory Opera of New Jersey, The Atlantic Coast Opera Festival, The Bay-Atlantic Symphony, The Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra, Elysium Opera, Pennsylvania Lyric Opera Theater, Masterworks Chorus and Orchestra of New Jersey, Opera Northeast, Amato Opera, The Wagner Project, Lancaster Opera, Harrisburg Symphony, Ambler Symphony, Lansdowne Symphony, South Jersey Chorus and Orchestra, Olney Symphony, Chestnut Hill Orchestra, Amici Opera, Hidden Valley Opera (CA) , The Orchestra Society of Philadelphia, Atlantic City Opera, Delphi Opera, Northeast Chamber Orchestra , Main Line Opera Guild and Voces Novae et Antiquae.

His operatic roles include Rocco in Fidelio, Daland in Der Fliegende Holländer, Sarastro in The Magic Flute , Fafner in Siegfried, Landgraf  in Tannhäuser, König Marke in Tristan und Isolde, Hunding in Die Walküre, Mephistopheles in Faust , Don Silva in Ernani, Sparafucile in Rigoletto, Ramfis in Aïda, Padre Guardiano in La Forza del Destino, Don Basilio in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Zaccaria in Nabucco, Fiesco in Simon Boccanegra, Raimondo in Lucia di Lammermoor, Banco in Macbeth , Ferrando  in Il Trovatore, Colline in La Bohéme  Filippo ll and the Grand Inquisitor in Don Carlo , Commendatore in Don Giovanni , Gessler in Guillaume Tell, and Lodovico in Otello. He has also sung the title role, Haroun-al-Rashid, in the world premier of Louis Scarmolin's "The Caliph "and Duca D'Arcos in the North American premier of "Salvator Rosa "(Gomes).

As an orchestral soloist, Mr. Glaudel has performed works by J.S. Bach- St. Matthew Passion, b minor Mass, Magnificat, St. John Passion and Christmas Oratorio; Handel- Messiah, Judas Maccabeus, St. John Passion,  Beethoven- Symphony #9 and Choral Fantasy; Haydn- Lord Nelson Mass, The Creation and The Seasons; Mozart- Requiem and Coronation Mass; Dvorak- Stabat Mater; Mussorgski- Night On Bald Mountain, Vaughn-Williams-Serenade to Music; Rossini-Stabat Mater, Schubert- Mass in G and the world premiers of Andrea Clearfield's  Nes Gadol Hayah Sham and Samuel Adler's Ever Since Babylon.
